1, Brony Scramjet

Brony Scramjet is the latest song Tuo created in this entire album. It was written on the 1st day of 2025. Tuo said his passion for being a brony has increased a huge amount since he started getting involved in some in-person community events such as meet-ups and brony cons. His brony adventure has just been getting into the acceleration phase. Like sitting on a Scramjet engine going ten times faster than the speed of sound.

I started about 4 years ago, in 2021.

4 years I built my OC, had a lot of memories.

2, More Than Just a Unicorn

“More Than Just a Unicorn” was created in early 2023. An expiration of Tuo’s brony life at that time. He felt like he and his MLP-based creative work were in the dark and being ignored, and he was even being told that he was in too deep. This song was the way he wished he could show the world his passion for MLP. The feeling will be like transforming into a magical and powerful alicorn, being seen by everyone in the community. At that time, he was willing to give up everything for his brony passion. And he will do exactly the same nowadays.

3, Cosmos

“Cosmos” is a song created based on a brony roleplaying game. In the middle of 2023, after the creation of “More Than Just a Unicorn,” Tuo started his journey into the community. He started an online radio streaming channel on BiliBili called “MLP Earth.” He used his pony OC Prince Fermata to interact with bronies every week on the streaming and had successfully built his little fan base in the Chinese MLP community. One thing he and his fans will do is roleplay. Tuo decided to make one of the most wonderful stories they played into song form. The arrangement of the song has a lot of similarities with the affical songs, which makes it sound like it’s been pulled right out from MLP. Like telling a story at a campfire in Equestria. This song also represents the first golden age of Tuo’s brony life.

Since I’m the only pony who can do that, I start reactivating the core.

The system locked up and just won’t let me in. At the meantime my friends starts to fall.

I feel so bad; this is all my fault, and here’s what I figured out.

The magic core and I had merged together, but the enemy aren’t giving up.

She sneaked into the body of Twilight, and my wife has become a beast.

Honestly, it’s been a hard time, the hardest time in my life.

To release the demo, I must kill her, and there’s only 5 percent chance she will live.

She lived.

4, What Should I do Twilight

What goes up comes down. “What should I Do Twilight” was created by the end of 2023. Like its name, Tuo really wants to ask the princess of friendship what he should do next. Tuo’s fan base for his streaming was soon being stricken by haters in late 2023. Which happens to be a really bad impact for him in the Chinese MLP community. He’s also being betrayed by his most trustworthy brony friend in the community. Thereforth comes the dark age of his brony life. He wrote this song to show his frustration but also to try to stay positive and keep pushing forward and have faith. This song also admitted his feelings for his pony waifu and even mimicked her voice in the second half of the song. Tuo said this song was designed to be performed on a big stage with lots of visual effects, expressing his dream of bringing Equestria to life.

5, Off My Mind

“Off My Mind” is actually the first song that was ever been created for this album. In late 2022, Tuo hadn’t graduated from college yet. At that time, he felt like MLP was starting to get in every part of his life. He just can’t stop thinking about ponies for even a single second. So he tried to write his feelings into lyrics and it turned out to be wonderful. Inspired by this project, he decided to start creating his second MLP-based album. And named it “Brony Syndrome.” Throughout all these years, with all the ups and downs, of course, Tuo had thought about giving up. And this song sounds exactly like he is about to move on. Putting this song in this place shows Tuo’s darkest time of being a brony, shows what he had thought about doing. But he completely did the abbsite of what he wrote in this song. Showing the power of hope even in the worst darknes. And the art of abbsite meanings of words.

6, Feel Your Magic

The coldest time is the darkness before the dawn. Created in late 2022, this song was inspired by a fanart of MLP and a true story about Tuo trying to encourage one of his friends who was struggling in his education at that time. Soon after this song was completed, Tuo found out that the emotion of this song can also be applied to the MLP G5 movie. With a cartoonish feeling and positive energy full of hope throughout the song, it shows what Tuo did during his “dark age” not only for his brony life. Trying to find and follow his passion and push forward even when it seems like the whole world might be against him as he awakens from the once again hater’s insults in 2024.

7, See You Next Year

“See You Next Year” was created in August 2024, right after Tuo’s first-ever in-person MLP event, The China Brony Convention. At that time, he was a community guest doing his music panel in the convention. Tuo states that it has been a long time since he was that happy during those two days of the convention. And when it ended, all the bronies were saying, “See you next year,” planning to meet at the convention again the next year. Based on his true feelings and the encounter and compliment from MLP official composer Daniel Ingram at the convention. Tuo created this song using inspiration from “The Magic Inside,” which is the most meaningful song to him in the MLP show, and the “Rainbow Rock” album from EG. The song features the voice of the mane 6, mimicked by Tuo with the help of advanced technology. It shows every brony’s passion for the show that changes the world. As Tuo Li always says. “As long as there are still friendship problems in the world, the book of MLP will never close. The magic of friendship will never end.
